EVENT CALENDAR <strong>2013</strong><br />

23 rd March : Earth Hour<br />

Millions of people turn off their lights for Earth Hour at<br />

8.30pm (20:30) in their local times. Iconic buildings and<br />

landmarks from Europe to Asia to the Americas have stood<br />

in darkness during previous Earth Hours. Some people<br />

enjoy Earth Hour with a candle-lit dinner or a candle-lit<br />

bath, while others host large <strong>event</strong>s or parties, either in<br />

darkness or with candles, to celebrate Earth Hour.<br />

24 th March – 05 th April : Easter Celebration<br />

A kids buffet will be served in Vihamana from 1st - 15th<br />

April,6:30pm - 9:30pm.<br />

Kids can enjoy pizza making with our Chefs (on<br />

Wednesdays & Fridays) and enjoy their very own freshly<br />

made pizzas! Complimentary soft drinks will be served.<br />

Bake cookies (on Thursdays & Saturdays) with our Pastry<br />

Chef at Ocean Grill and enjoy the cookies with a soft drink.<br />

Have an afternoon of Kids Karaoke (on Tuesdays) at<br />

Rendezvous Lounge with popcorn and soft drinks.<br />

31 st March : Easter Sunday<br />

A day of new beginnings with fun activities for the kids.<br />

They will enjoy games and meet new friends at the<br />

poolside. Of course hunting skills will come in handy as<br />

Easter Sunday will not be complete without the Easter Egg<br />

Hunt. Then enjoy an afternoon of Karaoke for kids, where<br />

they can sing their favourite tunes. A children’s buffet<br />

dinner at the Vihamana will be served.<br />

22 nd April : Earth Day<br />

Earth Day is a day early each year on which <strong>event</strong>s are<br />

held worldwide to increase awareness and appreciation of<br />

the Earth's natural environment. Earth Day is now<br />

coordinated globally by the Earth Day Network and is<br />

celebrated in more than 192 countries every year. More<br />

than 1 billion people worldwide participated in green acts<br />

around the globe during the Earth day last year, sending a<br />

powerful message for action on climate change.
