Eight chapter members participated in the <strong>Veterans</strong> Day<br />

Parade on Peachtree Street in Atlanta. They included Ron Clark,<br />

Jim Conway, Tom Harris, Bob McCubbins, Bob Moore, Urban<br />

Concordia Cemetery Director, to take care of the grounds around<br />

our beautiful <strong>Korean</strong> Monument.<br />

We feel we are all getting a little older and are no longer able<br />

We held our holiday party on 15 December 2008. At this<br />

party we installed our officers for <strong>2009</strong>-10. They are:<br />

• Commander – Ray O’Connor<br />

• 1st VP – Don Zoeller<br />

• 2nd VP – Hank Nowicki<br />

• Directors – Bernie Hoffman, Larry O’Leary, Arnie Barletta<br />

We also gave a citation to our outgoing Commander, Howie<br />

It all started at 0900 hours on a Saturday morning in<br />

December at the Wal-Mart store in East Syracuse, New York.<br />

After a count down and inspection, a flanking movement was<br />

performed to attack the in-house McDonald’s restaurant, which<br />

provided a hearty meal of pancakes, hash browns, sausage, juice<br />

and milk for the troops who were ready to do battle.<br />
