The Chapter passed a motion to make four libraries<br />
“Associate Members” as a way of getting the word out that there<br />
was a <strong>Korean</strong> <strong>War</strong>—and to recruit new members into the<br />
KWVA. The local newspaper, the Jackson Herald, wrote a brief<br />
article featuring the Chapter’s display at the Ravenswood<br />
Library, one of the four. (The others were Clay County Public<br />
Library, Putman County Public Library, and Boone/Madison<br />
Public Library.<br />
