NSW Golf Day<br />
On October 27 LAA held its annual<br />
NSW golf day at Camden Lakeside<br />
Golf Course, Narellan. Our thanks go to<br />

NSW: LAA/apics NSW joint dinner<br />
meeting<br />
LAA and apics NSW members recently<br />
attended the dinner meeting on<br />
October 20, where Angela Bridges<br />
gave an outstanding presentation on<br />
the topic <strong>of</strong> Measuring and Optimising<br />
Capability - Closing the Loop for Supply<br />
Chain Performance. Our thanks to<br />
Angela for her superb presentation.<br />

Networking and Awards presentation<br />
During early November LAA hosted its<br />
second invitation only Meet the LAA<br />
event at Customs House, Brisbane. To<br />
those new members, special Friends<br />
<strong>of</strong> the LAA and our Award winners we<br />
say thank you. Whilst it was a small<br />
group, it was good to cap <strong>of</strong>f the year<br />
meeting our new members, thanking<br />
our mentors and mentees, and meeting<br />
our University <strong>of</strong> Southern Queensland<br />
Student award winner. Tegan Case won<br />
the LAA student award for the highest<br />
marks in the <strong>Logistics</strong> Management<br />
course at USQ.
