PROCEDURE FOR REVISIONS<br />
The rules set forth in this Standard Electrical Service Requirements (SESR) change from<br />
time to time due to improved methods <strong>of</strong> construction, product application, and changes in<br />
Safety <strong>standard</strong>s. <strong>Lakeland</strong> Electric (LE) reserves the right to change or amend its rules,<br />
regulations, rates, or other charges, at any time and such changes or amendments, shall<br />
become effective upon the date determined by <strong>Lakeland</strong> Electric.<br />
These changes follow a sequence <strong>of</strong> approval which enables the establishment and<br />
enforcement <strong>of</strong> the <strong>requirements</strong>. Additionally, routine review <strong>of</strong> the <strong>requirements</strong> by<br />
Manager <strong>of</strong> Engineering insures that the information does not become outdated.<br />
Proposed revisions are received by the SESR Committee Chairperson, reviewed and<br />
studied for viability with input from the originator. If the change is viable it will be passed to<br />
the SESR Committee for preliminary approval. A draft will be written and passed to<br />
Administration for final approval. If approved, the final draft <strong>of</strong> the new or revised rule is then<br />
copied and distributed with the appropriate cover letter to all Policy Manual holders. The<br />
originator will be notified whether the proposal was rejected or passed.<br />
