R E D E M P T I O N O F TICKETS.<br />

Unused tickets or portions of tickets of all classes that are valid for passage over<br />

the New York Central & Hudson River Railroad will be promptly redeemed at their<br />

proper value if sent to or presented at the office of the General Passenger Agent, Grand<br />

Central Station, New York, by the original purchaser, with satisfactory reasons for<br />

their non-use.<br />

Limited tickets by their contract call for a continuous passage, and are, therefore,<br />

not good for stop-over, and if not used to their destination, are redeemable at the<br />

difference between the rate to the point to which the ticket was used and the rate paid<br />

for the ticket; such tickets should be sent in or presented for redemption previous to<br />

the expiration of the limit shown thereon.<br />

Passengers will find that they will realize more by communicating with this<br />

Company than by disposing of their unused tickets to unauthorized dealers. It is the<br />

desire of this Company to fully protect its patrons against loss in cases where from any<br />

valid cause they do, not use the tickets purchased for passage via this line.<br />

NOTICE.—These tables show the time trains should arrive at and depart from the<br />

several stations and connect with other trains, but their departure, arrival or connection<br />

at time stated is not guaranteed.<br />

The time of connecting lines is published for the information of passengers, and<br />

every care is taken to keep it correct, but this Company does not hold itself responsible<br />

for any errors or omissions therein.<br />
