advancing nursing science and scholarship as the foundation for practice.<br />

• Describe nursing and interdisciplinary research and evidence-linked<br />
initiatives in the <strong>School</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>Nursing</strong> and the health care community.<br />
• Investigate ways these innovations can be used to optimize health<br />
outcomes in clinical practice, health policy, and research.<br />

The <strong>University</strong> <strong>of</strong> Minnesota <strong>School</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>Nursing</strong>, Office <strong>of</strong> Practice,<br />
Partnerships, and Pr<strong>of</strong>essional Development is accredited as a provider<br />
<strong>of</strong> continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing<br />
Center’s (ANCC) Commission on Accreditation. This activity is awarded 4.5<br />
contact hours. ANCC accredited contact hours are accepted by all State<br />
Boards <strong>of</strong> <strong>Nursing</strong>.<br />
