OCSEA members hit the streets
Volunteers from OCSEA chapters spent countless hours
phone banking, rallying and canvassing in support of
labor-friendly candidates and Issue 2 for fair legislative
districts. From retirees to active members, and even their children,
OCSEA members answered the call, spending their time
and energy contacting union and non-union households, urging
them to vote. Members also encouraged voters to take advantage
of early voting opportunities across Ohio. Together, OCSEA and
AFSCME reached out to over 800,000 Ohio voters, helping secure
victory for President Barack Obama, Sen. Sherrod Brown and
others.
