Moruya Showground
The Showground is the perfect place for holding
events, like Open Days. There are large, open
grass areas with power boxes and water taps,
available for exhibitors and their displays.
The Showground has plenty of off-street
parking for events and is located well away from
residential areas.
Camping, public toilets, hot showers, town
water and power are available for event-related
camping.
The Moruya Showground is home to the
Eurobodalla District Show and is regularly used
by numerous sporting and social groups
including Eurobodalla Dressage, Eurobodalla
Light Horse Troop, Moruya Sharks - Juniors and
Seniors, Moruya Antique Tractor and Machinery,
Moruya Basketball, Moruya District Poultry Club,
Moruya Martial Arts and the Rodeo Association
of Moruya.

Moruya Show Pavilion
The Heritage listed Moruya Show Pavilion is a
multi-purpose facility. It comprises a main hall (198 sq
m), meeting room (66 sq m), kitchen and veranda. The
kitchen serves any or all three areas. The Pavilion is a
great and unique venue suitable for: Meetings, Classes,
Seminars/Conferences, Corporate meetings, Corporate
workshops, Training events,
Business planning, Launches,
Presentations, Award nights,
Promotions, Performance,
Formal dinners, Functions,
C h a r i t y f u n d r a i s e r s ,
Celebrations, Reunions,
Parties*, Wedding Receptions
or Anniversaries or just a quiet family get together.

Look no further than the Moruya Show Pavilion when
arranging your next function or looking for a venue or
room to hire. Easily accommodate small groups from 20
to 100 for seminars business and training meetings. The
main hall can comfortably seat up to 150 guests. 200 for
cocktail functions.
The Show Pavilion is spacious
and provides an excellent area for
seating or activities. When hiring
the Show Pavilion kitchen, you
have access to a hot water urn,
refrigerator and oven / hot
plates. The convenient servery
allows easy access for the serving of food or drinks to any
or all three areas.
Community Centre
The Moruya Community Centre / Basketball Stadium is a
multi-purpose facility. It has a full size Basketball court,
kitchen, canteen area, toilets and change rooms. The

Community Centre is a great venue suitable for: Careers
markets, Displays, Exhibitions, Under 18’s dances, and
Basketball.
Other Areas
The Show Ring, Outer Area and Ack Weyman Football
Oval are available on a seasonal or casual basis for hire
to business, schools, clubs, community groups and the
general public.
Located adjacent to the Show
Ring there is a building which
could be used as a Bar or
Canteen, cool room included.
The unique Grandstand, the
only one in the Eurobodalla Shire, was built in 1904-05
and over-looks the Show and Rodeo Rings.
At the end of the Rodeo Ring there are yards and
loading ramps. The Showground also has a Stable with
twelve stalls (5 sq m) plus twelve pipe yards (10 sq m),
eight pipe yards (12 sq m) and two wash bays for the
Horse, Cattle or large animal Events.
The Poultry Pavilion is suitable for showing Poultry and
small cage animals or for animal farms or petting zoos.
There are over 280 large fowl cages and about 440
bantam cages.
With all these pavilions and buildings along with
the open grass areas and the surrounding tree
environment, hiring of the Moruya Showground
or parts of the Showground, is the right place for
your next function or event.
