The Or<strong>chid</strong> Tray Co. visit on April 13th was very successful with lots of purchases<br />
going out the door. Robert gave us a bit of the history of the Or<strong>chid</strong> Tray Company<br />
and then gave a simple short but informative talk on some of the products he se<strong>ll</strong>s. He<br />
is also a successful or<strong>chid</strong> grower and has done a lot of research into the products he<br />
se<strong>ll</strong>s and how he can best benefit Or<strong>chid</strong> growers with the most economical products.<br />
The Bottoms have it again in the popular vote<br />

native or<strong>chid</strong>s. He is the Conservation<br />
Officer for the Australian Native Or<strong>chid</strong><br />
Society and has had a lot to do with the<br />
underground or<strong>chid</strong> and saving its<br />
Habitat as we<strong>ll</strong> as other endangered<br />
terrestrial or<strong>chid</strong>s.<br />

Saturday June 18th is the day for our Or<strong>chid</strong> Crawl.<br />
It wi<strong>ll</strong> be held in the Tuross Head area. There wi<strong>ll</strong> be<br />
4 places to visit before we have lunch at the Tuross<br />
Head Sports and Recreation area.<br />
Program for the day is as fo<strong>ll</strong>ows:<br />

South and West Regional Conference<br />
and Show.<br />
Please keep a note of this important event. It is to be held<br />
on 1st and 2nd October at Nowra, High School hosted by<br />
the Shoalhaven Or<strong>chid</strong> Society.<br />
We have been invited to enter a display and design plans<br />
are we<strong>ll</strong> under way. The theme is SOS and we wi<strong>ll</strong> be<br />
pursuing a nautical theme.<br />
It is not too late for suggestions to add to the display.<br />
Please also be alert to the fact that we wi<strong>ll</strong> need plants to<br />
go into the display that are show quality as they wi<strong>ll</strong> be<br />
judged individua<strong>ll</strong>y as we<strong>ll</strong> as part of the whole display.<br />
