How to Register on OASIS:
1 Meet with faculty advisor
a. Fewer than 15 completed credits. To register for seven or
more credits, an advisor’s signature is required. Ask the advisor
for your PIN to register online (see OASIS.)
b. 15 or more completed credits. Faculty advising is strongly
recommended but not required. Use your global PIN to
register.
c. Running Start and International Students must meet with
their advisor each quarter prior to registration, select courses,
and receive their quarterly PIN and entry codes.

Entry codE Special permission
Entry codes may be obtained from your advisor and expire after one use. The
code provides a way for you to register online or in person for: (a) a class that
requires instructor permission, or (b) a class that has a pre-requisite block.
Prerequisite block
Some classes require completion of a prerequisite. See class listings for specific
prerequisites. Also see “What is an assessment?” for more information on
English and mathematics prerequisites. If the prerequisite was completed at
another college/university, present the appropriate transcript to the faculty or
Student Entry and Advising Center advisor to obtain permission to enroll.
2 Plan your class schedule.
3 Register online at www.olympic.edu/OASIS
• Click on “Register or add/drop a class”
• Log in: Enter SID (860XXXXXX)
• Enter registration PIN as your birth date (50179 if May, 1979)
or your global PIN if you changed it, or a special PIN number
given to you by your advisor.
• Click on “Continue”
• Enter item numbers of class selections
• Click on “Submit add/drop” (Your new class schedule will
appear on the screen)
• Click on “Finish”
TIP: print your schedule for reference.
4 Pay tuition and fees online, in person, or by phone within two
business days.

Residency Requirements
To be eligible to pay resident tuition, a student must be a U.S. citizen or
permanent resident, who:
• Is financially independent AND
• Has established a domicile in Washington state for other than
educational purposes for a period of at least 12 months prior to the
state date of the quarter OR
• Is a dependent student whose parents or legal guardians have maintained
a domicile in Washington state for at least 12 months prior to the start
date of the quarter AND
• Who further meets and complies with the applicable requirements of
WAC 250-18-030 and 250-18-035
SB1079. Individuals who are not permanent residents or U.S. citizens
MAY qualify for resident tuition, if they have or will have graduated from a
Washington state high school or, while living in Washington, have received
the equivalent of a high school diploma. Additional criteria are required.
Contact the Admissions Office for more information.
Military personnel stationed in Washington State and their dependents who
present military ID at registration will be granted a waiver of non-resident
tuition and will be charged at the resident rate.
Restrictions
If your schedule contains a restriction, the class or wait list may be removed
from your schedule. Restrictions are:
• Course conflicts. You cannot wait list for a class that has the same
discipline and course number.
• Time conflict. You cannot wait list a class if the time conflicts with
an enrolled class. This restriction includes overlapping start and end
times.
• Limit of three wait lists for any quarter
TIME TO REGISTER
Each student is assigned a “time to register” based on the number of
credits completed plus officially transferred credits listed on the OC
transcript. Students may register on or after their assigned “time to
register.”

Call 360.475.7200 to receive a “time to register” or visit the
registration office at any campus.
