Owner's Comments
Accommodation: 'I have made numerous ocean
passages in 'Triton', the longest non-stop lasting 8
weeks (Madeira to Capetown) with a crew of 3.
At no time did it seem that the accommodation
was cramped.'Sails: 'I have always been
conscious of the need for first class sails which
will withstand the punishment of long distance
passage making. Ratsey's service has never
let me down.'Engine: 'This engine was installed in
1993. It has been the essence of reliability and I
have no wish to replace it. It has had regular but
short duration use, with annual oil change for
sump and filter. It is extremely economical and
spares can be readily obtained when required
from most Ford local dealers.'The Hydrovane
self-steering is a god-send - very efficient and
simple to use.
