Request for Appeal
Any candidate having concerns about either examination content or process may
formally submit his/her concerns anonymously, using either of two options
described below.
Option 1:
ON SITE (today)
o You may complete this form AFTER writing your examination and
BEFORE handing in your exam materials to the proctor
o Should you require the full three hours to write the exam,
ADDITIONAL TIME will be provided to complete this form
o Refer to your exam booklet while completing this form to indicate
specific item/question number(s)
o This form, whether completed or not, must be handed in to the
proctor prior to your departure
Option 2:
POST EXAMINATIONS (within 7 days)
o This form may be accessed at the OPC website: www.opconline.ca
o Completed forms may be submitted either electronically to
brian.mcnair@ontario.ca , or by mail, attention:Brian McNair, 10716
Hacienda Road, Aylmer ON, N5N 2T2, however must be received at
OPC within 7 calendar days after writing the examination
o Using this option you will not have the benefit of referring to your
exam booklet, but will have to rely on your recollection of the exam
items
The results of all appeals will be reported to participating services, in writing, to the
attention of the Chief of Police. For clarification, OPC will not be responding to
individual candidates. Further information regarding the appeal process is detailed
in the 2011 OPC Promotional Examination Policies and Procedures (available at
www.opconline.ca).
