- KISS’ Symphonic show with the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra, a one night affair,
would be split into three parts: First KISS would start with a short fully-electric set before
being joined by a 10 piece ensemble from the MSO for a short acoustic set. Finally, KISS
would be joined by the MSO, also in makeup, for the full symphonic set.
- The show was recorded for later release on Pay-Per-View and Album/DVD.
- Part of George Harrison’s “Here Comes The Sun” would be played prior to “Shandi.”
- The full symphonic show was introduced with a “overture from the Elder.”
- The band and symphony was joined by a choir for the performance of “Great
Expectations” which was making its first appearance in a KISS live set.
