WITHOUT ANY BUILDING WORK
> INDIVIDUAL AND CENTRALISED BITUBE INSTALLATION: CHANGING THE VALVE AND THE LOCKSHIELD
1 3
If
the valve-radiator distances do not coincide, use the
telescopic tail.
If
when fitting thermostatic valves you notice noises in the
installation, you need to reduce the speed of the boiler
pump. If the noises persist, you need to fit a differential
pressure valve between the delivery and the return, on
the boiler outlet.
See page 125
4
To prevent the thermostatic head from sticking out from the
wall more than the radiator,
See page 148
See page 148
2
If
when you dismantle the valve you find that the pipes
are damaged or too short, use either the nickel-plated
extension pipe or the adapter connector. If necessary,
you can shorten the pipe more to enable the extension
pipe to be fitted.
Orkli recommends that you fit the interchangeable
reverse angle valve.
See page 148 See page 147
If
, moreover, you would like to save more on your energy
bill, we suggest you fit a wireless programmable
chronothermostat that will enable you to switch off your
central heating system at the times of day necessary.
