The <strong>100</strong> <strong>Series</strong> is a family of application-specific one-way data transfer appliances. These<br />

single-chassis, rackmountable products deliver the same hardware-enforced one-way<br />

confidentiality of the proven <strong>OPDS</strong>-MP platform.<br />

<strong>OPDS</strong>-<strong>100</strong>FTE<br />

<strong>OPDS</strong>-<strong>100</strong>FTE satisfies customers' needs for the periodic and automated transfer of files<br />

across a network perimeter boundary between domains of different security levels and/or<br />

policies. Ethernet inlet and outlet interfaces provide connectivity to business & secure<br />

network spaces; integrated DualDiodeTechnology® provides their hardware-enforced<br />

network isolation.<br />

<strong>OPDS</strong>-<strong>100</strong>FTM<br />

<strong>OPDS</strong>-<strong>100</strong>FTM enables operators and equipment providers the secure transfer of system<br />

files from remote sites. This reduces travel to remotes. And data is not lost from dropped<br />

dial-ins. Equipment providers use <strong>OPDS</strong>-<strong>100</strong>FTM to maintain Service Level Agreements<br />

(SLAs) with their process control customers. Users dial-in to an integrated V.92 modem to<br />

retrieve files stored on the appliance. Windows BITS is used to bring traffic into the ICS<br />

HQ site.<br />

<strong>OPDS</strong>-<strong>100</strong>EML<br />

<strong>OPDS</strong>-<strong>100</strong>EML delivers the secure transfer of emails from isolated networks or individual<br />

ICS remotes to network administrators and operator vendors in the business engineering<br />

space. Among typical email transfers are system alerts, error state notifications, and heartbeat<br />

messages. <strong>OPDS</strong>-<strong>100</strong>EML acts as an SMTP proxy on both sides of the non-routable<br />

DualDiode protocol break, to receive generated emails, and to deliver to an outboard email<br />

system after secure transfer.<br />

Standard Product Configuration<br />

Standard units of the <strong>OPDS</strong>-<strong>100</strong> <strong>Series</strong> are designed to support individual customer applications.<br />

This datasheet highlights the support for file transfers (either by LAN-to-LAN one-way<br />

transfer, or by dial-in modem access), and one-way email transfer. Other <strong>100</strong> <strong>Series</strong> appliances<br />

under consideration are TCP/IP transfer, UDP transfer, and direct transfer support for<br />

a number of database historian provider solutions.<br />

The integrated servers within <strong>OPDS</strong> employ the CentOS Linux operating system, “locked<br />

down” from technical guidance taken from US government-formulated Security Technical<br />

Implementation Guides (STIGs).<br />
