NOW ! LE OFF – RADO STAR PRIZE<br />
CALL FOR PROJECTS<br />
RADO, an official partner of PARIS DESIGN WEEK, will present the RADO STAR PRIZE, an<br />
international design award to recognise emerging creativity, at now ! le Off 2013.<br />
During the third PARIS DESIGN WEEK (9 to 15 September 2013), RADO, an official<br />
partner of the event, is launching the RADO STAR PRIZE international design award. A<br />
"now ! le Off – RADO STAR PRIZE" <strong>call</strong> <strong>for</strong> <strong>projects</strong> is currently being issued to select<br />
the talents to be exhibited at now ! le Off, which will be automati<strong>call</strong>y entered <strong>for</strong> the<br />
RADO STAR PRIZE.<br />
The RADO STAR PRIZE will recognise the best design <strong>projects</strong>. <strong>Design</strong>ers wishing to<br />
apply to be exhibited at now! le Off must submit works or studies, completed<br />
<strong>projects</strong>, prototypes, models or existing mass production prototypes which have not<br />
yet gone into production.<br />
The RADO STAR PRIZE includes two awards to be presented at a major <strong>prize</strong>-giving<br />
ceremony on 12 September: the Judges' Award, which includes a <strong>prize</strong> of €5000 and<br />
inclusion in the 2013 <strong>Design</strong> Tour exhibition (Lilles, Nantes, Lyons, Montpellier,<br />
Marseilles) and the Public Award, which includes an iconic RADO watch.<br />
The Public Award will be presented to an applicant from among 10 finalist <strong>projects</strong><br />
short-listed by the judges. The public’s votes will be collected directly on the<br />
www.<strong>rado</strong><strong>star</strong><strong>prize</strong>.fr website between mid-July and the opening of now ! le Off. The<br />
selection will also be featured on the PARIS DESIGN WEEK website.
