Hugh Plaistowe is a partner in the Perth<br />
accounting firm, Owen and Plaistowe. He is<br />
a past state President (WA) <strong>of</strong> CPA <strong>Australia</strong><br />
and was chairman <strong>of</strong> its national pr<strong>of</strong>essional<br />
standards committee for five years. He has<br />
served on the board <strong>of</strong> a number <strong>of</strong> notfor-pr<strong>of</strong>it<br />
organisations. He served on the<br />
Pr<strong>of</strong>essional Standards Council from 1998 to<br />
2006 and was reappointed for another three<br />
year term in 2009.<br />

Tiina is a Tasmanian chartered accountant<br />
with a background in risk and financial<br />
management, governance and ethics. She<br />
has worked as a pr<strong>of</strong>essional accountant in<br />
the private, public, academic and not-for-pr<strong>of</strong>it<br />
sectors. Tiina was the national Pr<strong>of</strong>essional<br />
Standards Adviser in ethics and corporate<br />
governance at CPA <strong>Australia</strong> for 14 years<br />
until <strong>2011</strong>. She was the <strong>Australia</strong>n Technical<br />
Adviser for the IFAC International Ethics<br />
Standards Board for Accountants and CPA<br />
<strong>Australia</strong> representative on the <strong>Australia</strong>n<br />
Stock Exchange Corporate Governance<br />
Council. Tiina is Company Secretary <strong>of</strong><br />
Woodlands Wines Pty Ltd, director <strong>of</strong><br />
Housing Choices <strong>Australia</strong>, Chair <strong>of</strong> Housing<br />
Choices Tasmania and a former director <strong>of</strong><br />
Aurora Energy Pty Ltd, Hobart Water and the<br />
Connect Credit Union. She is also a board<br />
member <strong>of</strong> Designed Objects Tasmania (DOT)<br />
– <strong>Australia</strong>’s longest running design collective.<br />

Iain Summers provides governance and<br />
management advice, assistance and training<br />
primarily to community services and public<br />
sector entities. From 1995 to 2002 he was<br />
the Northern Territory Auditor-General. He is<br />
a company director for community services<br />
corporations, and chairs a number <strong>of</strong> audit<br />
and risk committees for community services<br />
and public sector entities.<br />
