fat/low carb days and three high<br />

carbs/low fat days. I always<br />

scheduled my big carb meals<br />

after my morning cardio and on<br />

the days I went high fat/low<br />

carbs, I always included an extra<br />

45-minutes intense cardio. I<br />

always eat at 6AM, 9AM, and<br />

12PM, 3PM, 6PM, 9PM. I<br />

scheduled my day around eating!<br />

your diet?<br />

diet. His knowledge in setting<br />

up my diet was obtained by<br />

reading John <strong>Parrillo</strong>’s books<br />

and magazine.<br />

Franco: What supplements<br />

did you take?<br />

Brent: <strong>Parrillo</strong> supplements<br />

of course! I took 6 Liver<br />

Aminos, 4 muscle Aminos,<br />

4 Ultimate Aminos, 1 Evening<br />

Primrose Oil, 1 Advanced<br />

Liptropic Formula, and 1 each<br />

of Essential Vitamins and Mineral<br />

Electrolytes with each<br />

meal.<br />

Franco: Give me an example<br />

of a typical pre-contest<br />

training day.<br />

Brent: Well, I’ll give you<br />

a leg routine. The weight varies<br />

on some of the sets, but I<br />

always train to failure. I’m not<br />

could be, I needed to be around<br />

people who knew what they<br />

were doing. After training with<br />

you, Franco, I knew that you<br />

were one of those people. I want<br />

to train with you, and learn from<br />

you — just absorb your knowledge<br />

about bodybuilding and<br />

gain from your experience in<br />

bodybuilding and about building<br />

a personal training business.<br />

family feel about you making the<br />

move to Cincinnati?<br />

Brent: My family has always<br />

been very supportive of<br />

me. Mama has always helped<br />

me out with preparing meals and<br />

Daddy always encouraged me<br />

to be the best that I could be in<br />

everything I do. They know<br />

that my moving to Cincinnati is<br />

going to continue to help me<br />

be my best.<br />
