HAMBURG, Germany and WANGARA, WA Australia – February 3, 2011 – PARTNER-TECH Europe<br />
GmbH, a leading supplier of fixed and mobile point of sale hardware and <strong>TriniTEQ</strong> International Pty Ltd,<br />
a leading developer of handheld hospitality point of sale systems, announced today that they have<br />
entered into a strategic alliance that spans product development, production and distribution on a global<br />
basis.<br />
The Agreement will see both companies collaborating to develop and product new handheld POS<br />
offerings based upon <strong>Partner</strong> <strong>Tech</strong> mobile POS platforms incorporating <strong>TriniTEQ</strong>’s RF WaiterPAD<br />
technology. PARTNER-TECH and <strong>TriniTEQ</strong> will jointly market and sell their combined products through<br />
existing and new distribution channels worldwide.<br />
<strong>Partner</strong> <strong>Tech</strong> products such as the PT-6200 series and SP-1000 POS terminals and OT-100 mobile<br />
POS combine advanced technology, industry standard open platform operating systems and rugged<br />
yet stylish design. <strong>Partner</strong> <strong>Tech</strong> is the preferred POS hardware <strong>provider</strong> for thousands of resellers,<br />
ISV’s and other channel partners around the world.<br />
<strong>TriniTEQ</strong>’s WaiterPAD system is a complete handheld ordering system designed for hospitality. First<br />
deployed in Australia in 1999, WaiterPAD is used by thousands of major restaurants, bars, cafes,<br />
theaters and sporting venues around the world. As a low frequency, long-range Radio Frequency (RF)<br />
system, WaiterPAD has advantages over Wi-Fi systems. In restaurants with commonly found enclosed<br />
rooms, microwaves, glass, steel and liquids, WaiterPAD requires fewer wireless access points and<br />
reduces security risk by avoiding more commonly trafficked Wi-Fi frequencies.<br />
