Unlike badge style IDs, Clincher remains on the inmate at all
times (during transportation, exercise, showers, sleep, etc.),

Photo Identification
As video imaging is quickly becoming a standard in law enforcement facilities throughout the
U.S., PDC offers two Clincher Photo ID wristband styles that are fully compatible with video
imaging systems. The Photo ID wristbands are laminated and accommodate inmate photos, as
well as inmate data.

Bar Code Identification

Radio Frequency Identification
PDC's revolutionary Clincher Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) system brings an advanced
level of identification and tracking to law enforcement and correctional facilities. RFID wristbands
contain a microchip and antenna, which allow information to be written to and
retrieved by RFID scanners. The system provides one of today's most advanced methods of
automatic identification, with unmatched tracking and processing features.

Clincher Smart Band ® can be indexed to instantly retrieve and verify each inmate's
photo and ID information from a facility database.
Identification data is electronically detected when an inmate scans through portals with
RFID readers attached, facilitating contact-free identification and tracking throughout the
facility.
Positive verification is achieved through a link to an inmate's database photo/ID, which
helps detect band tampering and helps prevent erroneous releases.
Can be configured to debit inmates' accounts each time a purchase is made through the
commissary.
