2007-2008: Our second ‘annual Jones lab punting’<br />
trip with visitors Alasdair <strong>and</strong> Jen; a farewell dinner<br />
for <strong>Shona</strong>; a joint Jones <strong>and</strong> Gibb lab Christmas<br />
lunch; Francisco, Marc <strong>and</strong> <strong>Shona</strong> in the lab, with<br />
<strong>Shona</strong> demonstrating her ambidexterity;
2008-2009: a farewell BBQ for Marc; Francisco Marc <strong>and</strong> James in the lab <strong>and</strong> at lunch with <strong>Part</strong> <strong>II</strong> student<br />
<strong>Helen</strong>; past, present <strong>and</strong> future members of the Jones lab with guest Alasdair on the steps of the Anatomy<br />

Jones lab punting trip 2008-2009: James, Angie, Sue, <strong>Helen</strong>, guest Alasdair, Francisco, Marc, <strong>Shona</strong> <strong>and</strong> Isabel
Before...<br />
After!<br />
2009-2010: Sue, James, Angie <strong>and</strong> Jenny ran 10K in Nottingham with friends Elaine<br />
<strong>and</strong> John to raise money for Parkinson’s UK – thanks to our family, friends &<br />
colleagues for sponsoring us <strong>and</strong> to Debbie <strong>and</strong> Vikki for support on the day! <strong>The</strong><br />
joint Gibb / Jones lab Christmas lunch involved the longest wait for food ever. Marc<br />
married (Ann, not <strong>Shona</strong>!) <strong>and</strong> became a father, <strong>and</strong> as a result Sue <strong>and</strong> <strong>Shona</strong><br />
became god mothers! Wei spent 9 months in the Jones lab. Sue, Jenny, James,<br />
Angie <strong>and</strong> Wei went to the Physiological Society meeting in Manchester, shared a<br />
flat <strong>and</strong> didn’t kill each other, gave fantastic presentations (Jenny James Angie <strong>and</strong><br />
Wei), partied ‘til the <strong>early</strong> hours (Sue) <strong>and</strong> met lots of VIPs. We won’t mention the<br />
dinner at Old Trafford- the photos tell the story. And then there was the punting.....
