Products include blanks, spheres, aspheres, mirrors, filter substrates, zero-expansion materials
and wafers — in quantities ranging from one or two samples to small runs. And, not only that,
we have built up and maintain an extensive inventory of optical glass, which means we can
deliver specialty items, colored glasses and hard-to-find qualities.

can plan their projects to avoid costly, inefficient in-house production from the very beginning.

Grinding/Polishing
We can grind and polish optical glass components
with diameters of up to 800 mm. Special technology
makes it possible to process long, thin rods (up to
1500 x approx. 200 mm) for specific applications like
machine-tools, for example. Of course, we also final
polish lenses, filters, prisms …
Milling/Drilling
Band/Wire/Jet/Laser Cutting
Our milling service makes it possible to save
enormous amounts of time when it comes to the
production of lenses. With our high-precision CNC
milling centers, we can deliver virtually any desired
milled shape in very little time. Of course, our services
include drilling, for example, core drilling to produce
lenses and other components of optical glass.
Advanced band and wire-saw machines and laser
and Jet-cutting systems make it possible to produce
high-precision blanks in the form of bars, blocks,
slices, rods and sheet of optical glass. We can also
process overdimensioned stock measuring up to 500
x 500 mm, and we offer special material-saving cut-
ting techniques for semi-finished wafer products.
Coating
Using the most appropriate technique for the specific
application, we can coat a wide range of different
glass substrates for virtually any spectral range, for
example, polarization und interference filters, mirrors
(laser, cold light), UV, IR and visible light.

inventory or have us process optical glass that you

range of applications, for example, lenses, prisms,

Marketing Partnership
We stock a large inventory of bars, blocks, rods and
gobs in a wide range of different glass qualities, shapes
and weights. Our excellent contacts with natio-
nal and international glass manufactures and dealers
give us access to glass qualities that are very rare,
scarce or no longer in production.
