Kris Earl who has joined the Business Team as Front of House Administrator, Robyn Clark who has joined the GP Team as the Administrative Assistant, Adrian Dashfield who has joined us as the Associate Dean for Quality and also Martin Davis who has now joined the Deanery as the Associate Dean for Faculty Develop- Farewell to …… Susie Bates who has moved on to progress her career in teaching and Adrian Dashfield who will be taking up a job opportunity in the Isle of Wight. We wish them all the success for the future. Staff Training Update Mandatory Training Tina is currently in the process of arranging mandatory training sessions. There will be two sessions covering all requirements. Mandatory Training comprises of manual handling, health & safety, fire awareness, security, Data Protection, Freedom of Information and confidentiality. Dates are yet to be confirmed. The frequency of this training will follow SHA policy. Health & Safety Monitor / Risk Assessor Training Dates for this training are being planned for the summer. It is a three day course and will be held here in the Deanery. The course is provided by an external company and is fully certificated. First Aid/Fire Warden Training Tina will be e-mailing out to staff for expressions of interest with regard to First Aid Training and Fire Warden Training as there is a need to increase the number of staff involved in this to be increased. Business Team Update The Deanery website is to be reviewed and updated over the next few weeks. All Deanery internal policies, procedures and guidelines are currently being reviewed by all staff via the Physical Resource Group.

This includes questions or queries about the following: Meeting room bookings Archive Storage Equipment—requests/ problems Photocopier issues Clear Desk-Screen Policy Internal Communications Post To lead the Business Team in ensuring all corporate and business functions relating to the Deanery are carried out in a robust manner. Strategic responsibility for the Raleigh Building and all associated issues. Operationally responsible for Raleigh Building and all associated issues. Health & Safety Officer and Union Rep for Raleigh Building. To work with the Head of Operations to ensure the corporate duties are carried out in a robust manner. Day to day duties include a variety of different jobs from meeting and greeting visitors at main Reception along with taking calls, booking meeting rooms, visitors car parking, travel & IT equipment. They also include ordering Stationery, dealing with incoming & outgoing post & providing support to Olivia & Tina as and when required. All enquiries will be dealt with on a daily basis where possible.
