PDF<br />
If you are using your own distiller settings,<br />
please ensure that the following options are<br />
adhered to:<br />
• PDFs must be supplied in high resolution.<br />
Choose ‘Press Optimised’ option in<br />
distiller or select ‘maximum’ quality in<br />
compression option.<br />
• Select 300 dpi as your target resolution<br />
for colour and greyscale images.Select<br />
2400 dpi for monochrome images<br />
• Files to be output in CMYK, with 3mm<br />
bleed and crop marks<br />
• RGB images and any Pantone colours<br />
must be converted into CMYK<br />
• All fonts must be embedded into document<br />
• If supplying ads with bleed, ensure<br />
crop marks are included on pdf with<br />
3mm bleed on all sides.<br />
JPEG<br />
For ads with bleed<br />
High resolution JPEG files are acceptable.<br />
Please ensure:<br />
• All images are supplied at 300 dpi for<br />
CMYK and Greyscale, and 600 dpi for<br />
monochrome.<br />
Bleed<br />
To calculate bleed (if required), refer to the<br />
Ad Size Guide on page 1.<br />
Microsoft Word<br />
A conversion fee will apply to any ads that<br />
are supplied in Microsoft Word. Costs are<br />
subject to sighting of Microsoft Word file.<br />
Design Service<br />
If you are unable to provide your ad in the<br />
correct specifications but would like a<br />
professionally designed ad, we offer a design<br />
service to format your ad for you. Costs are<br />
subject to sighting of material and text.<br />

WHEN Supplying artwork<br />
If smaller than 5Mb in size can be emailed<br />
to advertising@physiotherapy.asn.au<br />
• The publisher refuses to accept<br />
responsibility for poor reproduction of<br />
ads that:<br />
– contain images or graphics with poor<br />
resolution<br />
– contain images that have not been<br />
converted to CMYK<br />
– have incorrect trapping settings<br />
– contain clipping paths which do not<br />
reproduce faithfully<br />
• Unless a colour proof is provided with the<br />
ad, no responsibility can be taken for<br />
incorrect reproduction.<br />
