Sea Sunday, May 17, 2009 is a time when all members of the
family of faith are invited to learn about the ecumenical
presence of the Albany Maritime Ministry to share God’s love
with sojourners entering the Port of Albany. It is also a time to
learn of the invaluable and sometimes dangerous work of a
seafarer. Seafarers bring 90% of all goods entering our
country. We depend on them and they in turn rely on our
hospitality, services, and pastoral care. For more information

Choose a sunscreen with an SPF 30 or higher that
contains at least two of these ingredients: Titanium
dioxide, Zinc oxide, Avobenzone. Apply sunscreen
liberally at least 20 minutes before going out, even
on overcast days. Reapply sunscreen every 2-3
hours or sooner if swimming or sweating. Wear sun
protective clothing and UVA blocking sunglasses.
Avoid heavy exposure between 10 AM and 4 PM.
Seek shade whenever possible.
