Sea Sunday, May 17, 2009 is a time when all members of the family of faith are invited to learn about the ecumenical presence of the Albany Maritime Ministry to share God’s love with sojourners entering the Port of Albany. It is also a time to learn of the invaluable and sometimes dangerous work of a seafarer. Seafarers bring 90% of all goods entering our country. We depend on them and they in turn rely on our hospitality, services, and pastoral care. For more information visit www.albanymaritimeministry.org or contact Rev. William Hempel; Port Chaplain, at 518-463-0571 or m-mail firstname.lastname@example.org.
