stolen from an unlocked vehicle on Ocean<br />
Avenue. No further suspect or investigative<br />

Pacific Grove: Arkwright Court resident<br />
reported her son, who is in the hospital for<br />
alcohol treatment, possesses two shotguns and<br />
one rifle. She advised her son lives with her exhusband,<br />
who is a convicted felon. Records<br />
check did not preclude son or ex-husband from<br />
possessing firearms. Resident wanted advice<br />
on how to remove firearms from residence due<br />

firearms while receiving treatment for alcohol.<br />
She was advised to request permission from<br />
son to safe-keep firearms.<br />
Pacific Grove: Victim on Ripple Avenue<br />
reported a male kicked down the bathroom<br />
door, causing it to cut and injure her back while<br />
she was in the bathroom. Suspect left on foot<br />
and was unable to be located.<br />
Pacific Grove: Dispatched to a report of a<br />
lost wallet. A woman said she had placed her<br />
wallet in her shopping basket and forgot it.<br />
When she <strong>real</strong>ized she did not have her wallet,<br />
she went back to the look for it but the wallet<br />
was gone. She asked the store manager if she<br />
could review the video to see where her wallet<br />
went. <strong>The</strong> manager advised the system was not<br />
working due to construction. Victim has no further<br />
information for this report.<br />
Pacific Grove: Male said he lost his wedding<br />
ring while riding back from the gym. He<br />
said he heard the ring fall but did not think the<br />

ground. He does not know where the ring is. He<br />
attempted to look for it.<br />
Pacific Grove: Dispatched to vandalism to<br />
a vehicle on Jewell Avenue. <strong>The</strong> entire vehicle<br />
was scratched. <strong>The</strong> suspect carved “suks” on<br />
the side of the vehicle.<br />
<strong>Carmel</strong> area: Male contacted on Highway<br />
1 at Carpenter during a traffic stop and found<br />
to be DUI.<br />
<strong>Carmel</strong> Valley: Adult son was found dead<br />
by his mother in their residence at Tassajara<br />
Road and Cachagua Road.<br />
Big Sur: At approximately 1921 hours, the<br />
sheriff’s search and rescue team and Big Sur<br />
Volunteer Fire Brigade rescued three subjects<br />
from the cliffside near Bixby Bridge. <strong>The</strong>y<br />
were trying to get to the beach area of Bixby<br />
Creek when they spoke with other visitors who<br />
were climbing back up the cliff side. <strong>The</strong> subjects<br />
stated they were returning from the beach.<br />
<strong>The</strong> brothers traversed the cliff side until they<br />
reached a point where they could not go up or<br />
down. <strong>The</strong>y in turn started yelling for help, and<br />
their mother heard them from the roadside and<br />
called emergency services. <strong>The</strong>y were approximately<br />
150 feet from the roadside and about<br />
120 feet from the beach. Rescue teams worked<br />
together to bring the brothers back up to the<br />
roadside. <strong>The</strong>y all suffered minor scratches and<br />
bruising and were seen by ambulance personnel<br />
on scene. <strong>The</strong> brothers were then released<br />
to their mother.<br />
