for Tendering for Term Contract for Signs and Graphics

The Facilities Management Office is compiling tenderer list for Term Contract for Signs and
Graphics.
List of Tenderers for Term Contract for Supply and Installation of Signs and Graphics
2011/2014 (Ref No. SG11)
The term contract shall comprise the supply and installation of all kinds of signs and graphics,
and removal and disposal of existing signage including reinstatement and making good of
existing based on existing signage systems already installed in the University. Acceptance
standard of works is high and timely completion is essential.
There are several signage systems currently being used in the campus of the University.
Prospective contractor is required to upkeep, maintain, replace and add the signs to match
with these existing signage systems. Therefore, the successful tenderer is required to keep
reasonable stock for necessary replacement and renewal works. These signage systems are
including the followings:
- Infopanel directional sign system
- Infonorm directional sign system
- Slatz directory system
- Swedsign directory system
- Channeltex directory system
- Infonorm door sign system
- Nexus door sign system
Applications for Inclusion on the Lists of Tenderers
Qualified and interested contractors shall apply in writing to the Facilities Management
Office, 10/F, Li Ka Shing Tower, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, Hung Hom,
Kowloon, on or before 24 August 11.
The submission must be clearly stated with the reference number and the list of tenderers
being applied for, and shall be enclosed with the following:

relevant job reference;
annual turnover in the past three years;
audited accounts for the latest three years;
profit and loss statement and balance sheet for the current period;
quality assurance system;
CV of key personnel and organisation chart; and
health, safety and environment policy.

Incomplete or late applications will not be considered.

The University is not bound to invite any contractors who have shown interest, or who have

本 校 園 現 在 使 用 多 款 指 示 牌 系 統 , 承 造 商 須 對 現 有 指 示 牌 進 行 保 養 , 維 修 , 更 換 及 加
裝 。 所 以 承 造 商 必 須 確 保 有 足 夠 存 貨 以 備 其 更 換 及 翻 新 工 程 。 現 有 之 指 示 牌 系 統 包 括
