worn by the legendary<br />
Jane Wyman for her role<br />
as Ann Kincaid in the<br />
1947 Western adventure<br />
‘Cheyenne.’ Ms. Wyman’s<br />
career spanned 60<br />
years with roles in such<br />
classic films as ‘The Lost<br />
Weekend’ and ‘The Glass<br />
Menagerie,’ winning an<br />
Oscar for her portrayal of<br />
a deaf-mute rape victim<br />
in ‘Johnny Belinda.’<br />
(1948) The dress has a<br />
peach colored, sleeveless<br />
top sewn into a green<br />
skirt bottom that has two<br />
separate pant legs, and the<br />
top has a zippered back<br />
which runs down to the<br />
skirt. Includes wardrobe<br />

Lot 167. ‘The<br />
Good Earth’ Paul<br />
Muni Wardrobe -<br />
Amazing that this has<br />
survived this long.<br />
This is Paul Muni’s<br />
jacket and pants<br />
from the 1937 classic<br />
drama ‘The Good<br />
Earth.’ The story<br />
centers around Muni,<br />
who plays a Chinese<br />
farmer who must<br />
deal with a famine, a<br />
locust invasion, and<br />
his own arrogance,<br />
ultimately coming to realize what is<br />
most important in life. The costume<br />
consists of a very weathered, long<br />
sleeve thick canvas style jacket with<br />
button front, though one button is<br />
missing, and a pair of thick canvas<br />
material pants. The number ‘52’ in<br />
written in ink inside the coat, and a<br />
small ‘Paul Muni’ label has been sewn into the waistband of<br />

biographical drama ‘The<br />
Story of Louis Pasteur,’<br />
starring Paul Muni and<br />
Josephine Hutchinson.<br />
This is a screen worn<br />
dress worn by Josephine<br />
Hutchinson for her role<br />
as Marie Pasteur. The<br />
dress is yellow colored<br />
(likely due to aging) with<br />
a floral print pattern, and<br />
is in two pieces, a blouse<br />
top and long skirt which<br />
is attached together with<br />
small clips. ($800-$1,000)<br />
Lot 169. ‘Harlow’ Carroll<br />
Baker Costume - From the<br />
1965 biographical drama<br />
‘Harlow’ starring Carroll Baker<br />
and Red Buttons. In the film,<br />
Carroll Baker plays platinum<br />
blond bombshell Jean Harlow,<br />
who rose to fame in the reckless<br />
Hollywood of the 1930’s. This<br />
is the screen used, beige/golden<br />
colored long gown worn by<br />
Ms. Baker, and features an<br />
ornately decorated studded<br />
and sequined top that zips up<br />
in back and attaches to the<br />
long dress portion. A small<br />
label inside reads ‘Int’l Ladies<br />
Garment Workers Union.’<br />
