& Mrs. Muir.’ The pants are Navy<br />

blue and made of thick fabric.<br />

There is a small ‘FOX 2’ tag pinned<br />

on the inside and the label reads<br />

‘Cotroneo Costume, Hollywood.’<br />

Edward Mulhare’s typed name is<br />

faintly visible on label as well. ($300-$600)<br />

and matching red pants<br />

each leg, worn by the 6 ft.<br />

9 in. actor Ted Cassidy in<br />

The Last Remake of Beau<br />

Geste (1977). Cassidy,<br />

most famous for his role<br />

as Lurch the Butler in The<br />

Addams Family television<br />

series, essayed the role of<br />

“Blindman” in this parody<br />

of desert adventures.<br />

Marty Feldman directed<br />

and starred. Collar has the regimental number 2<br />

sewn into each side. Both the top and pants have<br />

a Western Costume Company label with Cassidy’s<br />

name typewritten on them. ($900-$1,000)<br />

(2005) Promo Jersey<br />

From the Adam Sandler<br />

comedy The Longest<br />

Yard (2005), this is a<br />

promotional Football<br />

Jersey for the release of the<br />

film. The jersey has never<br />

been worn and is made<br />

from a mesh-like fabric, as<br />

all sports jerseys are, and<br />

is numbered 18 with ‘The Longest Yard’ stitched<br />

across the front. Great for fans of the film or<br />

sports enthusiasts. ($50-$100)<br />

Lot 174. Warner Baxter Military<br />

Jacket from The Road to Glory<br />

Green French grenadier military jacket,<br />

worn by Golden Age star Warner<br />

Baxter in The Road to Glory (1936).<br />

Baxter portrayed Captain Paul La<br />

Roche in this World War One film<br />

directed by Howard Hawks. Includes a<br />

United Costumers label with Baxter’s<br />

name handwritten on it. Baxter is most<br />

famous as the Crime Doctor in a series of Columbia B movie<br />

mysteries during the 1940s. ($400-$500)<br />

Lot 176. Richard Kiel Prison Outfit<br />

from The Longest Yard - Prison shirt and<br />

pants, worn by actor Richard Kiel, most<br />

famous as Jaws in The Spy Who Loved<br />

Me (1977), in The Longest Yard (1974).<br />

Kiel, measuring over seven feet in height,<br />

portrayed Samson in this tale of a football<br />

match between prison guards and their<br />

captives. Samson was one of the players<br />

on the prisoner team formed by Burt<br />

Reynolds as Wrecking Crewe. Includes a<br />

studio-issued hangtag reading “Samson”.<br />

Lot 177. Charles Tyner Prison Outfit<br />

from The Longest Yard - Prison shirt<br />

and pants, worn by actor Charles Tyner in<br />

The Longest Yard (1974). Tyner portrayed<br />

the mad arsonist Unger in the film, who<br />

conspires to kill the film’s hero, Crewe,<br />

played by Burt Reynolds. The film told of<br />

a football match between prison guards<br />

and their captives. Tyner is most famous<br />

for his role as Boss Higgins, the evil prison<br />

guard in Cool Hand Luke (1967).<br />

Military Jacket from Fighter<br />

Squadron - Short green “Ike” style<br />

US Air Force jacket, worn<br />

by Tom D’Andrea as Sgt. Dolan<br />

in Fighter Squadron (1948).<br />

Includes a Warner Bros. label on the<br />

inner lining with D’Andrea’s name<br />

handwritten on it, along with a date<br />

of 5-12-48. The film was set in 1943<br />

and featured D’Andrea as the local cad at a US air base in<br />

England during the run-up to D-Day. ($100-$200)<br />
