Hospice Care
Hospice Care focuses on seniors that have a
decline in a physical or mental health status.
Hospice Care is aimed in relieving symptoms and
giving social, emotional and spiritual support. This
allows them to live a pain-free life, managing their
symptoms so their days can be spent comfortable
and surrounded by their loved ones. Hospice care
is covered by medical insurance. Most Assisted
Living and Residential Care Communities have a
waiver for this type of care.
Respite Care
Respite care is a temporary relief for families and
or care givers. This would be considered a short
term stay, from a few days up to a few months in a
care facility.
Retirement Communities
Retirement Community/Independent Living is for
seniors who do not need any assistance, but will
greatly benefit from being in a social environment
with all of the services and amenities included to
help simplify their life.
Assisted Living
Assisted Living is a long term option for seniors,
providing assistance with daily living activities such as:
medication management, bathing, grooming, dressing,
escorting to and from meals, and incontinence care.
Assisted Living is a non-medical environment.
Residential Care
Residential Care consists of homes typically with up to 6
seniors. This environment provides one-on-one care for
our seniors. These facilities are wonderful for seniors that
require high levels of care such as: assistance with daily
living activities, medication management, bathing,
grooming, dressing, escorting, to and from meals, and
incontinence care. Residential Care provides a home like
atmosphere.
Memory Care
Memory care consists of early, middle and late stages of
Dementia, Alzheimer’s and Memory Impairment. Special
programs and activities help keep residents on a routine
of stimulation, including help with all activities of daily
living. Larger facilities have separate dementia units to
concentrate on their individual needs.
