play shorthanded.
Red cards
Any player or coach receiving two yellow cards in a single game will miss the duration of that game and their team shall
play short for 5 minutes of the game.
The player will not be permitted to play, and is considered suspended, until the suspension is served. Any player or coach
caught playing while suspended will be subjected to further suspension and the team they play will loose every game in
which a suspended player or coach participated, plus an additional point in the standings for each game in which a
suspended player or coach participated.
Time Penalties (Teams play short-handed)
1. A player who has received a yellow card shall serve a 2-minute minor time penalty.
2. A team, one of whose players has been sent off, shall serve a 5-minute major time penalty.
Administration of Time Penalties
2. 2-minute minor time penalty to goalkeepers may served by another player who was on the field at time of offence.
3. 2-minute minor time penalties shall be served until the time penalty expires or until the opposing team scores a
leaving his/her team 2-minutes as stated above. When the second player gets a yellow card he/she must leave
the field immediately, leaving his/her team two players short. However, the second penalty doesn’t start until the
penalty begins.
until the time penalty expires or until the opposing team scores a goal. The player will be shown red card and
9. If both teams are short handed at the same time, and one of the team’s scores, regardless, the time penalty must
be served entirely by both players.
Appeals
Teams may protest based on eligibility of a player. This protest can be based on player playing while under suspension or
