PRIZE SCHEDULE, CHAMPIONSHIP & TROPHY DETAILS Championship Awards: To be eligible for a Champion or Reserve Champion award at any level the Horse or Pony must compete in both competitions at that level and gain at least 60% up to an including Advanced or 58% in FEI competitions in each qualifying test. FEI Competitions: A horse must compete in both PSG and Intermediate I to be eligible for Small Tour Champion or Intermediate II and Grand Prix to be eligible for the Big Tour Champion (Grand Prix Special is a separate competition). ALL PONY & PE Championship awards (including Prize Money) will only be presented at the OC discretion. ALL FEI Championship awards (including Prize Money) may only be presented if there are at least 5 competing entrants on the day of competition at the relevant level or at the OC discretion. To be eligible for a Tournament Champion, Horse must compete in both competitions at that level plus the corresponding freestyle (Ponies not eligible for Tournament Champion). EA Competitions Horses & Ponies: CHAMPION: Rug RESERVE CHAMPION: Sash Rosettes to sixth (6 th ) and Ponies to fourth (4 th ) Prize money or goods in kind to 6 th and Ponies to fourth (4 th ) Young Horse - prize money or goods in kind for 1 st & Rosettes to 6 th FEI Competitions: Small and Big Tours CHAMPION: Rug RESERVE CHAMPION: Sash Rosettes to sixth (6 th ) Prize money or goods in kind to 6 th Freestyle Competitions: Rosettes to 6 th Prize money or goods in kind to 3 rd Tournament Awards: EA Tournament Champion awarded to highest placed combination competing in EA level championship & associated Freestyle competition - Prize FEI Small Tour Tournament Champion awarded to highest placed combination in PSG & Inter I plus Inter I Freestyle - Prize FEI Big Tour Tournament Champion awarded to highest placed combination in Inter II & GP plus GP Freestyle - Prize **Prize collection: The rider or a delegated representative MUST collect all prizes at Presentation on the day of competition or all prizes shall be forfeited. YOUNG HORSE COMPETITIONS: Young Horse competitions will be conducted under Section 5 of the EA Dressage Rule Book These YH competitions are classified as qualifying competitions for the Australian YH Championships To be ridden one horse at a time To be judged over 1 round Test may not be commanded/called Horse’s or Ponies age to be calculated as of the 1st August 2011: ‣ 4 Year olds Born between 1 August 2008 and 31 July 2009 ‣ 5 Year olds Born between 1 August 2007 and 31 July 2008 ‣ 6 Year olds Born between 1 August 2006 and 31 July 2007 All horses and ponies must be ridden in a snaffle bridle using a bit with a minimum diameter of at least 14mm Tests to be ridden (as per Rule 5.2): ‣ 4 year old – FEI Young Horse test for 4 year olds ‣ 5 year old – FEI Young Horse Preliminary Test for 5 year olds ‣ 6 year old – FEI Young Horse Preliminary Test for 6 year olds ‣ 6 year old Pony – one round qualifying test TROPHIES: MASTERS TROPHY: To be awarded to the rider 45 years of age or over as at the closing date of entry and based on the highest average of the two best tests ridden. Riders are to nominate on the entry form if they wish to be considered for the Masters Trophy. REGIONAL TROPHY: To be awarded to the regional rider with the highest combined scores from 2 tests at any given EA level. Rider must come from a regional area (regional areas are defined as Gympie & north, west of Toowoomba but not including Toowoomba & north–west of Nanango.) Riders are to nominate on the entry form if they wish to be considered for the Regional Trophy. BREED TROPHY: Breed Association trophies to be confirmed. Please indicate your breed affiliation on the entry form. RIDERS FORUM AND WELCOME BBQ A Riders Forum, will be held on Friday afternoon/evening (time to be determined and advised once entries have closed) at the Picnic area in between the stable blocks. This will be followed by a BBQ at a small fee of $10 per person including a drink. Please indicate on the entry form if you will be attending the BBQ – a necessity for catering purposes. EVENT DETAILS ENTRIES: Late or incomplete entries WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED and will be returned to sender. Entries must be postmarked 13/09/12 or earlier. Entries by post only will be accepted Phone/fax/email entries WILL NOT be accepted. Entry refunds – 30% of entry fee will be refunded on receipt of a doctor’s or vet’s official certificate submitted to: Leesa Murray 33 Greer St Bardon Qld 4065 within 24 hours of the event, providing the horse is officially withdrawn no later than 24 hours before the start of the first day of the Event. A Doctor’s or Vet’s official certificate must be submitted prior to the start of the first day competition for horses withdrawn prior to the start of the Event.
