Wall to Wall - Ride for Remembrance
before the enormity of the ride was
upon us as we rode into the grounds.
Hundreds upon hundreds of
motorcycles lined up on a cloudless
Canberra afternoon. From Harleys
to Vespas, all motorcycles were side
by side, and the task of getting the
now 1,500 or so riders to the National
Police Memorial probably had the AFP
organiser just a tad concerned.
Saturday 14 September, so plan your
trip now, and join in this great event.
Senior Sergeant Bradyn Murphy has
been chosen as the National Chairman
for the 2013 National Wall to Wall Ride
for Remembrance, and Senior Sergeant
Andrew Frick is the Queensland

The ride eventually weaved its way
through the streets of Canberra, taking
in the roads leading to Parliament
House on the journey to the National
Police Memorial.
At the memorial, a moving ceremony
was conducted, and it was a great
pleasure to see Julie Stiller attend. I
am sure that the pain of losing Dan is
still ever-present for Julie, but it was
great to see her in the crowd, looking
on as we remembered Dan and all the
other officers who have had fallen in
the line of duty.
