Recital
Pianist Ismael Florit and Cellist Dermot Clenaghan will
be performing a selection of works for their respective
instruments.
These young musicians won this opportunity to perform
for this event after receiving top marks in their final
performance recitals in June 2013.
We are proud to have them back in the capacity of
showcasing our musical talents at the School of
Creative Arts.

Developing the Cultural Entrepreneur
What does it mean to be a cultural entrepreneur? What
skills, attitudes and behaviours does it involve? What is
the nature of entrepreneurship in the creative sector? How
do the answers to these questions relate to your personal
ambitions to become a cultural entrepreneur? In this two
part workshop participants will explore these questions
through a combination of practical work and reflection and
will develop understanding of the role of identity, narrative
and the entrepreneurial thinking involved in cultural
entrepreneurship.

The 2013 world champions, The Cory Band and musical
director Philip Harper, form the high point of this year’s
Festival of Brass at Queen’s. Presented in association with
the Universtiy Brass Band and the Northern Ireland Brass
Band League.
