University Brass Band and Chamber Choir
The University Choir and Brass Band join forces to present
an end of year programme of classics and seasonal works.
A seasonal favourite, this concert unites a jazz star from the
London firmament with local virtuosi under the direction of
Steve Barnett (piano). Today we are delighted to welcome
back Martin Williams (tenor sax), lead tenorist from the BBC
Big Band; Martin is one of the most celebrated reed voices
in jazz, having played with luminaries such as Ray Charles
and George Shearing. Martin will also be joining Queen’s
Big Band tonight for their Christmas Concert.
