Welcome to obp Motorsports 2012 Rally, Track and Drifting catalogue. 

Obp have always had the same mission and goal and that is to offer you fantastic products at a fair

back bone of our business and has enabled us to expand into a world wide brand. Obp Motorsports has 

over 30 preferred dealers in more than 20 countries. On this globe of ours we have over 190 countries

Obp Motorsport is very proud of our successes in the BTCC, Drift All-Stars, 750 MC, EDC, BRC and 

many more competitions and race series all over the world. We envisage our successes to continue to

We have a fully equipped factory based in the UK near Cambridge in the world famous Motorsport 

Valley. This is where we design, develop and manufacture our Motorsport products.

Universal Pro-Race Bulkhead Fit Range 

Optimum Balance Products Ltd (OBP Motorsport) PRO-RACE Range of pedal boxes are proving to be very popular with race teams world 

wide. These pedal boxes represent a major step forward in car control, giving the driver better feel, greater dexterity and the most important 

bit faster lap times. The PRO-RACE Range are lightweight, flexible and ergonomically efficient. All pedals pivot on oil impregnated 

bushes, giving an incredible smooth motion with very little maintenance. All Pro-Race Brake and Clutch Pedals are tested to 250 Kgs 

forward Force and 200 Kgs Side Force. These Solutions are manufactured in our UK Factory.

Vehicle Specific TRACK-PRO Range 

The Track-Pro bias adjustable track, rally and race car pedal box. This innovative, easy to install, unique 

and revolutionary system bolts to the floor and uses the cars original floor pan angle to mount the master 

cylinders. No welding or cutting is required to fit this unit once sufficient fixing points have been installed.

Kit Car Pedal Solutions 

SUPER BUDGET PRICE FOR YOU KIT CAR ENTHUSIASTS. 

Kit Car Pedal Box Universal Bulk head Fitment, this will fit all types 

of Kit Car. 

These pedal solutions are designed to fit most space frame chassis 

with a bulk head. The width of this unit is 240mm so it will fit most 

Kit cars on the market. 

The pedal box comes with a 25mm x 25mm cut out in the back to fit 

over the bottom rail in the foot well. The unit fits to the bulk head and 

bolts to the floor. Comes with nylock nuts for bias bar. 

Cable Clutch

Engine Conversion Classic Mini Pedal Solutions 

This pedal box has been designed specifically for the Classic Mini we have worked very closely with a Mini specialist to create a hiperformance 

system that is easy to fit. 

We are confident that our Mini bias brake pedal box is by far the best solution available on the market. This is a total replacement pedal 

box, not an add on part that does not work. 

This System has the master cylinders coming into the car and into the cockpit. This will enable you to fit the engine bay with as much 

engine as it is possible to install. Perfect for all engine conversion classic minis. 

We have tested and designed the 6:1 pedal ratio to give optimum pedal performance. All our pedal boxes are manufactured in our UK 

based factory, this is how we can maintain the highest level of quality control. 

The Mini pedal box is a light weight mild steel under-slung pedal box design, that offers the driver the highest level of efficiency in this 

critical area. The ergonomic design features a fabricated lightened steel brake and clutch pedal with oil impregnated spherical bushes 

giving you a long lasting, low maintenance and smooth pedal. This pedal box is fitted with a bias bar that operates a dual master cylinder 

braking system, giving total control over the braking from front to rear.

Single Master Cylinder Hydraulic Handbrakes 

Hydraulic Handbrakes 

OBP Motorsport has a fantastic Range of lockable and non-lockable hydraulic handbrakes for drifting and rally use where a standard 

cable type handbrake would quickly be weakened. 

The hydraulic system is fitted in addition to the original cable handbrake and is used to drift or turn the car on the spot when there’s 

not enough wheel lock to achieve the tight turn. The hydraulic handbrake is not used to stop the car. 

OBP Ltd has also developed an adjustable lockable lever for their Hydraulic Handbrakes. These systems will allow you to use the Hydraulic 

Handbrake as a temporary park brake. It is NOT intended to be used as a permanent park brake. The lockable lever has an adjustable 

stay fitted to it which locates in a multi-position track, enabling the brake to be locked on when stopping at time checkpoints, etc. These 

systems are intended for competition use only. 

These OBP Hydraulic Handbrakes are constructed out of lightened steel with a black powder coat finish, making for an extremely strong 

product that will last a life time.

Hydraulic Handbrakes 

Twin Master Cylinder Hydraulic Handbrakes 

Using a Twin Master Cylinder system enables you to have control over the rear brakes independently, allowing you to keep the safety 

element of your car brake system. 

Drifting and Rally driving requires extensive use of the handbrake, which can show weaknesses in standard cable type handbrakes. The 

hydraulic system eliminates the weaknesses as in the standard cable type handbrakes. The hydraulic system connects into the brake line 

that runs to the rear callipers and requires a lot less force to completely lock both rear wheels when needed. 

A hydraulic handbrake is used by drivers to lock up or break loose the rear wheels when they want to Drift the car sideways or spin on 

the spot. Rally drivers regularly need to spin 180 degrees “on the spot” when they over shoot an intersection, or need to turn very hard 

left or right and there’s not enough wheel lock to achieve this.

This fantastic unit has an Aluminium Handle and an Aluminium Cylinder Box. 

PRO-SPEC Polished Hydraulic Handbrakes 

On normal Alloy handbrakes it has an Alloy handle but with a Mild Steel cylinder box. The obp handbrake 

is approx 150g lighter than other Alloy handbrakes and over 200g lighter than the Mild Steel type. 

The Alloy handle is manufactured out of Aircraft grade Aluminium with a Super Grip rubber handle, 

the cylinder box is manufactured out of Aircraft grade 3mm Aluminium. The handle pivots on oil impregnated 

bronze bearings that give a good balance between weight, strength, wear resistance, conformability 

and durability in operation.

Alloy Fuel Tanks - Race Car 

OBP Motorsport alloy fuel tanks are precision made for competition or road car use. The tanks are made with in built baffles or filled with 

a baffle foam to help prevent fuel surge and suppress explosions. The fuel filler has an internal diameter of 40mm and has a knurled 

screw on cap with a seal. Filler neck splash trays and sight gauges are fitted where appropriate. Standard fuel outlets are 10mm outside 

diameter and the sight gauge outlets are 10mm outside diameter. Tanks can be made with other size outlets or with additional fittings 

for a swirl pot return.

Pit Equipment 

Alloy Universal Rally Ramps 

WRC Spec alloy wheel ramps with a strong chequered alloy top 

surface. These units have easy to carry holes in the back and 

stack into each other for very easy storage. They are specifically 

designed for low riding vehicles, race cars and cars with deep 

spoilers. 

At approximately 1.1 metres long the ramps are longer than 

most ramps on the market. This extra length allows a shallow 

angle of approach and means that deep spoilers wont foul on 

the ramps. 

Once at the top of the ramp the wheels are chocked by a V 

shaped depression in the ramp. There will now be sufficient 

clearance under the spoiler to insert a trolly jack and raise the 

car higher if required. Despite their length the ramps are surprisingly 

light and weigh less than most steel ramps. The all welded 

construction makes the ramps strong enough to support almost 

all vehicles that will physically fit on them and a cut out in the 

end plate allows easy handling when aligning the ramps.
