AIRMATIC DC opens up a new dimension of<br />
comfortable and sporty driving. This is made<br />
possible by the adaptive damping system which<br />
continuously adjusts the firmness of the air<br />
suspension in accordance with the current driving<br />
situation. Instead of conventional coil<br />
springs, an electronic system adjusts the settings<br />
of the air springs by varying the air pressure<br />
to create a harder or softer set - up. Each<br />
spring strut has an additional volume of air<br />
which can be partially deactivated if necessary.<br />
If the sensors register a sporty driving style, for<br />
instance, the comfortable basic suspension<br />
automatically becomes firmer. <strong>The</strong> suspension<br />
set - up can also be adjusted manually.
