NOTE: there are two other entries for Frederick Halsey on the IGI/BI – neither giving any christening date and both having <strong>his</strong> birth in ―About 1729 Great Gaddesden,<br />

Hertford, England.‖ T<strong>his</strong> location is somewhat unlikely for either <strong>his</strong> birth or <strong>his</strong> christening in December 1727 given the marriage of <strong>his</strong> parents at Hamburg in January<br />

1727. Their next children – presumably twins, Charles and John, were born in 1729 at Hamburg (see next two endnotes). And they were followed by five more children<br />

also apparently born in Hamburg (between 1731 and 1736). The first of their children undoubtedly born in England was Amelia – christened at St. Olave Hart Street,<br />

London in 1740 (see endnote #91 below).<br />
