Daniel was forged around 165 B.C. and passed off as a prophetic<br />
book from around 500 B.C.<br />
Its original timetable was intended to “predict” the end of the<br />
world in 164 B.C. (during the Hasmonean resistance to Greek<br />
occupation, rather than, as in 30 A.D., the Roman occupation).<br />
It didn’t happen. So everyone tried “reinterpreting” the data in<br />
the timetable.<br />
One such result pegged the 30’s A.D. as the correct time.<br />
