This month's choices as obvious as a guitar smack to the forehead (OUCH!) Gainax does it again with the hilariously twisted side show oddity that poses as contemporary anime:
Fooly Cooly (FLCL). With its side splitting humor and amazing introspective of adolescence, FLCL dares you to ride along in a truly warped and zany world of poor 12-year-old
Naota. Also hitting the States from Gainax this month is His and Her Circumstances. Billed as a high-tension comedic story of first love, this series is simply so much more. With
superb character designs (what else do you expect from Hideaki Anno and Tadashi Hiramatsu?), this series leaps inside the viewers head and has you reliving everything you
thought you'd forgotten - your deepest desires, longings, and regrets. Finally this month, comes the blood soaked tale of Berserk - a gritty no holds barred action series with creepy
mutants and a really, really big man with a really big sword and a plan to dispense his own brand of justice.
