All the sessions were well received by the students.
Feedback sheets indicated that 89% of the students
thought that overall the day was either, very useful (44%)
or useful (46%).
Some student positives for the day include:
I am no longer overwhelmed by the idea of 3 hours of
study a night
The day was fun and very informative
I learnt ways to balance and prioritise my time
I really came away with a sense of relief to know
there are ways to get through and to minimise stress
I’ve become more motivated. It’s inspiring.
I now have ideas on how to get organised
Loved the speakers and Bob Hillman was amazing
and extremely inspirational
Elevate speakers were inclusive and funny
It really helped with study habits. I’m less stressed
and I know what to do.
Learning how to set goals and use of colour in note
taking
That most people work hard to get good marks and
are not just naturally smart. Anyone can do well if
they try!
Learning time management. I now know how to make
a timetable.
I came out of the day with a better study focus
A positive atmosphere
