Left Ear Art Club gives Riverland
students an opportunity to explore
artistic activities outside of the
classroom.
Some of our recent activities include
our involvement at Re-Fest, the
Riverland Student Snow Sculpture
contest, and our open to the public
Haunted House.
Each year, Left Ear students are
invited to the Minnesota Community
College Fine Arts Festival. The
event offers multiple how-to classes
such as glass bead making, making
your own art supplies, meeting
famous artists from around the world,
and much more.
Along with the Art Festival, Left
Ear students also take an end of the
year art trip. Previous trips include
going to the Walker Art Center and
the Science Museum of Minnesota.
Left Ear Art Club Membership is
open to all Riverland students and
faculty. Our purpose as a college
art club is to promote artistic ability
in all aspects to Riverland students,
as well as bringing art awareness to
the Austin community.
