Day 1 Malta – Garda + South Garda Lake Tour We meet the <strong>ROCS</strong> Travel Tour Manager at the Malta International airport for our flight Malta to Milan. Upon arrival in Linate our coach will be waiting for us for our transfer to Lake Garda. We check in at the hotel and later meet our guide for our very first tour. Our experience in Lake Garda will kick off with a tour of the southern part of the Lake and visit the beautiful towns of Desenzano, Sirmione, Peschiera, Lazise and finally a familiarization stroll around Bardolino, the town where our Parc Hotel Gritti is situated. We will have an introductory explanation from our guide about the town of Bardolino after which we walk back to the hotel via the Lake shore, which is ideal for a beautiful stroll in the evening. Once at the hotel we have dinner and overnight. Day 2- Gardaland Park A full day dedicated to the young or young at heart. This day is probably the most amusing day of all and will be completely devoted to Gardaland. Early morning we take our bus from Bardolino to Gardaland which is a great place for children attractions. Gardaland Park is the Number 1 Amusement Park in Italy, the one with the longest history and one of the most important ones at a European Level. In 2005, the prestigious American magazine Forbes placed Gardaland Park at the fifth place among the best amusement parks in the world! The great variety of attractions and shows is able to satisfy a truly diversified crowd: from early childhood to adolescence all the way to third age, from <strong>group</strong>s of teenagers to families. Day 3 Verona & Mantua Shopping In the morning following breakfast we will head to Verona. The city of Eternal Love immortalized by Skakespeare with his tale of Romeo & Juliet. Our guide will take us through the beauties of this renowned city. The town is a work of art in itself, a fascinating cross –roads of historical periods and cultures, tracing back to its Roman origins, medieval structures and magnificent renaissance places. Our special tip in order to truly discover Verona is to take hidden little streets hide treasures and amazing sights. We will visit Verona’s most important monuments such as the Arena, Piazza Bra, Piazza Erbe’ and many famous churches. After lunch we will take the coach and head for Fashion District Mantova Outlet, a new shopping centre with more than 100 shops. A trip into a world of fashion at discounted prices.In the evening we will return back to the hotel for dinner and overnight. Day 4 Movieland Studios (Canevaworld) Another fun day ahead of us. After breakfast today we visit Italy’s Hollywood.The first fun park created in Italy, located on the shores of Lake Garda, dedicated to the movie world, where every day the stuntmen give a show in which you can take part. Our full day at the park will be spent in an area of 60,000 m2 in which visitors can peek behind the scenes of the industry’s most spectacular movies, discover the tricks and watch live shows that recreate the world’s most famous movies. An adventure experienced among gigantic movie sets, special effects, thrills, actors, stuntmen and the most famous movie sound tracks. We return to the hotel in the evening for dinner and overnight. Day 5 Full day Tour of Parma & Parma Ham Factory Experience A very interesting day ahead today. After breakfast we will travel to Parma internationally famous for its ham. We will start off the day with a city tour of Parma. We then move on to visit a proper Salumificio (Ham factory). We will embark on a guided tour and be shown all the steps of the production of the renowned Parma Ham. Our experience will be authentic in every way since we will also enjoy tasting dishes of cold meat, of Parmeggiano Reggiano Cheese together withsome precious wines. The visit ends with a rich buffet and also the possibility of buying some of the typical local products. After lunch we will have a couple of hours to tour Parma town and have some relaxing time there before returning to Garda. Day 6 Full day Tour of Venice After breakfast we depart for our full day tour to Venice. Upon arrival we will get on the boat which will take us to Piazza San Marco. Our tour starts by sightseeing some of the main monuments such as St. Mark’s Basilica, the exterior of the Bridge of Sighs, the Doges’ Palace, the Campanile of San Marco and the famous Clock Tower. We then walk to the famous Rialto Bridge, with the possibility of indulging on a romantic tour of the canals on a traditional real Venetian Gondola. In the afternoon we will continue our tour by walking through the narrow alleys of Venice so as to be able to discover some of the city’s hidden treasures like the Contarini Spiral Staircase also to admire the magnificent view over the Grand Canal and stroll around the stalls of one of Venice’s market places. We will also have some free time for lunch and for shopping ideal for all those who would like to take some souvenirs and some beautiful Murano back home to Malta. 14 Rates are per person and include: Return flights, accommodation as stated, all taxes & charges.
