3 Day camp March 27-29
Boys & Girls Grades K-4 & Grades 5-6 • 10 am-3 pm
Spend your Spring Break learning all about applied science
through rocketry, robotics and aviation.
Applied science is the application of human
knowledge to build or design useful things. In
this 3 day camp, campers will study rocketry
(27 th ) and build and fly their own model
rocket.
They will also learn “the rocket science” behind
the model and how it applies to real rockets.
Robotics is the topic on the 28 th . Students will
learn all about the science behind robotics and
build a team robot using Lego Mindstorm kits.
Aviation will conclude the camp on the 29 th . Students will
build a rubber powered aircraft and learn the 4 forces
of flight, different types of aircraft propulsion and will
(weather permitting) fly an R/C aircraft
