<strong>Letitia</strong> <strong>House</strong><br />
<strong>Letitia</strong> <strong>House</strong> is a supported<br />
housing project designed to support<br />
individuals in drug treatment<br />
programmes.<br />
How we can help<br />
<strong>Letitia</strong> <strong>House</strong> is a safe and secure place<br />
to live with 24hr CCTV. It provides<br />
temporary accommodation in a safe,<br />
supportive environment which enables<br />
clients to make positive choices, access<br />
practical and emotional support, health<br />
care, financial advice and sign posting to<br />
external agencies.<br />
Our main aim is to reduce homelessness<br />
whilst working for the benefit of our clients<br />
and helping to place them into appropriate<br />
permanent accommodation. We work<br />
closely with agencies and services such<br />
as CRI, Fulcrum centre and Families First<br />
and together we work to provide a first<br />
class professional service at all times.<br />
Facilities and services<br />
— A support worker is assigned to<br />
each client to offer help, support<br />
and advice, whether it’s for training,<br />
employment, housing or personal<br />
issues.<br />
— <strong>Letitia</strong> house has a computer for<br />
use by clients. It is accessible 24<br />
hours a day and has internet<br />
access.<br />
There are a number of client<br />
activities to get involved in, such as<br />
client meetings, newsletter<br />
publications, pool competitions, quiz<br />
nights and group events.
Stages Programme<br />
<strong>Letitia</strong> <strong>House</strong> operates the Stages<br />
programme, which was developed by<br />
<strong>Riverside</strong> ECHG staff in Middlesbrough.<br />
The programme consists of the following<br />
three stages.<br />
Stage 1 Assesses & identifies support<br />
needs and develops an individual tailor<br />
made plan.<br />
Stage 2 Addresses any issues identified.<br />
Stage 3 Results in the move to<br />
independent living.<br />
Who we can help<br />
We are a single persons accommodation<br />
project for individuals with substance<br />
misuse issues who are in, or ready to<br />
access, a drug treatment programme.<br />
All referrals to <strong>Letitia</strong> house are made via<br />
the housing panel, co-ordinated by Safer<br />
Middlesbrough Partnership.<br />
