1/72 ITALERI 100 Years War
figure carrying banner.
This man originally had a sword
in his hands, which carefully had
been cut of.
Then the hands had been drilled
with a needle heated in a candle
flame.
After inserting a plastic pin (or
pole) the banner can be fixed. In
case a plastic pin is used, the top
may easily be flattened by pressing
together with some tool.
Afterwards cut it into the spearhead
shape.
This conversion had lost his
sword, i.e. no sword is seen in
the sheath. Maybe you like to
add a sword grip from elsewhere
to the mouth of the sheath.
How to exactly fix ROFUR-FLAGS
Cut square - glue together - cut shape - weld
Instead of removing the backside protecting paper, it may alternately be left with the flag and both sides glued together with a glue-stick, i.e. “Pritt” (avoid liquid
adhesive, this may dissolve the printed surface!).This gives you a few seconds to carefully slip the edges until they are exactly congruent.
