Christina B. Wilson; one son, Andrew F. Wilson; three sisters,<br />
Marecha W. (Jon) Wolcott, Patricia W. (Richard) Shewmaker,<br />
and Kim W. (Mark) Corman, all of Lexington. A memorial<br />
service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Friday, September 21, at the<br />
Unitarian Universalist Church, Clays Mill Road, Lexington,<br />
conducted by Rev. Kendell Tarleton. Memorials may be made<br />
to the Lafayette High School Band Association, c/o Dr.<br />

YEAGER. Marvin Haskell Yeager, Sr., age 91, of 176 Alford<br />
Road, Salvisa, died Monday, August 20, <strong>2001</strong> at the James B.<br />
Haggin Memorial Hospital in Harrodsburg. Born in Washington<br />
County, he was a son of the late Willie and Hannah Barnett<br />
Yeager. He was the widower of Venie Drury Yeager. He was a<br />
member of Antioch Christian Church and attended the Kirkland<br />
School. He was a retired farmer and carpenter and an avid<br />
fisherman and hunter. Survivors include: two sons, Marvin<br />
(Faye) Yeager, Jr., and Larry (Lou Ann) Yeager, both of<br />
Harrodsburg; two daughters, Phyllis (Louis) Sea,<br />
Lawrenceburg, and Sandy (Kenny Long), Salvisa, 18<br />
grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren, six great great<br />
grandchildren, 11 step grandchildren, several step great<br />
grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two sons, Gilbert<br />
and Carroll Yeager, one granddaughter, Lisa Yeager Dial, five<br />
brothers, Cecil, Marshall, Orbrey, Orville and Everett Yeager,<br />
two sisters, Erma Hoskins and Oatney Yeager. Funeral<br />
services will be at 3:30 p.m. Thursday, August 23, at the Gash<br />
Memorial Chapel with Bro. Larry Redding and Bro. David Kelly<br />
officiating. Burial will be in Antioch Cemetery in Washington<br />
County. Pallbearers will be Danny Yeager, Steve Yeager,<br />
Anthony Hamlin, Dale Hamlin, Timmy Yeager, Travis Yeager,<br />
Jamie Yeager, Chad Crouch and Doug Hazelwood. Honorary<br />
bearers will be Jimmy Bowen, Garland Hoskins, Bobby Durr,<br />
Jerry Barnett, William A. Miller, Donnie Green, Johnny Mitchell,<br />
Jimmy Pearson, Penny Dearinger, Benny Hahn, Carl<br />
Hazelwood, Gary Reynolds, James Jackson, and Donald<br />
Sexton. Memorial contributions are suggested to the Antioch<br />

YOUNG. Hollis Young, 95, of 576 Beaumont Avenue, died<br />
Tuesday, November 13, <strong>2001</strong> at the Haggin Memorial Hospital.<br />
Born February 2, 1906 in Washington County, he was the son<br />
of the late R. J. “Buddy” and Cora Lay Young and was the<br />
widower of Edith Robinson. He was a retired salesman for<br />
Central Wholesale and was a member of the Harrodsburg<br />
Baptist Church. Survivors include: one sister-in-law, Lillie<br />
Long, Harrodsburg; one granddaughter, Susan Beth Boren,<br />
FL; one great granddaughter, Jennifer Tamara Boren, FL. He<br />
was preceded in death by a son, Herman Young; three<br />
brothers, Hugh, Edward and William (Bill) Young; one sister,<br />
Marjorie McGrath. Funeral services were held Friday,<br />
November 16, at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel with Robert<br />
DeFoor and Rick Snyder officiating. Burial was in Spring Hill<br />
Cemetery. Pallbearers were Dick Dartt, W. B. Horn, Kenneth<br />
Young, Stanley Green, Bill Rogers, Armond Bottom, Paul<br />
Devine and Ernest Mobley. Honorary bearers were the Glad<br />
Hand Sunday School Class and deacons. Memorials are<br />
suggested to the Harrodsburg Baptist Church, Main Street,<br />
Harrodsburg, KY 40330 or the Mercer County Humane<br />

ZODY. William Thurman “Bill” Zody, 65, of 4111 Boones Grove<br />
Way, Jeffersontown, died Friday, August 10, <strong>2001</strong> at his<br />
residence. Born January 6, 1936 in Harrodsburg, he was the<br />
son of Hazel Keightley Zody, Jeffersontown, and the late Jack<br />
Montgomery Zody. He was a retired accountant, a graduate of<br />
Carson Newman College in Jefferson City, TN and a member<br />
of the Harrodsburg Baptist Church. Survivors, in addition to his<br />
mother, include: his wife, Mary Lou Lyons Zody, Jeffersontown;<br />
one daughter, Karen Zody Waiz, Louisville; two sons, Michael<br />
M. Zody, Sellersburg, IN and G. Mark Zody, Jeffersontown;<br />
seven grandchildren. Funeral services were held Monday,<br />
August 13, at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel, with Dr. Robert<br />
DeFoor officiating. Burial was in Spring Hill Cemetery.<br />
Pallbearers were Bob Goettel, Ed Robertson, Gene<br />
Cocanougher, Michael Jacoby, Sam Woods and Doug<br />
VanDiver. Memorials are suggested to the <strong>Kentucky</strong> Humane<br />
Society or the Gideon Memorial Bible Fund.
