George Washington Vickers<br />
Died 8-8-1923<br />
Age 63 years old<br />
Mother-in-law of Eliza Virginia Burgess Vicker (born 4-12-1876,<br />
died 2-20-1953, buried at Funston) remembers going to the<br />
cemetery in 1932 or 1933 with her mother-in-law trying to locate<br />
the grave and could not locate it. Eliza did remember it was<br />
near the grave of Asa Hughes. Mrs. Max Vickers sent a copy<br />
of the death certificate showing that George Washington<br />
Vickers was buried at <strong>Sardis</strong>.<br />
