Harmonia School of Music & Art is a group of professional artists trained<br />
in prestigious conservatories and universities who actively perform<br />
throughout the D.C. Metropolitan Area. We offer musical theatre classes<br />
for every age and level. Each musical theatre session culminates in a<br />
colorful showcase. Performances are always open to the public. Harmonia<br />
School of Music & Art opened its doors with a mission to provide the<br />
highest quality of performing arts education to the D.C. Metropolitan<br />
Area.
Theatre<br />
Young children naturally dramatize life. Their bodies and voices are taken<br />
through safe, dramatic activities to develop their abilities to express<br />
themselves. Harmonia’s Drama Department offers exciting hands-on<br />
classes designed to train students in all aspects of theatre. Through main<br />
stage productions and intensive classes, students will learn the art of<br />
becoming a performer and develop self-esteem.
Music<br />
Harmonia offers private lessons, semi – private lessons, and group classes,<br />
including beginner and enrichment classes for teens and adults. Our<br />
programs are designed for all ages and abilities. Students may begin<br />
studying piano at Harmonia as young as age 3 1/2 as part of the Harmony<br />
Road method group classes or in private lessons.
Summer Camp<br />
<strong>Education</strong>al and fun-filled Summer Camps at Harmonia School offer full<br />
and half-day programs in 2-week sessions. The comprehensive and theme<br />
oriented programs combine various music, piano, art, theatre and<br />
choreography classes. Students will enjoy learning the arts through handson<br />
instruction by highly educated and experienced faculty. Culminating in<br />
creative performances and exhibits at the end of each session, Harmonia<br />
School Camp is a great opportunity for children to open their minds and<br />
eyes to a new world of performing and visual arts.
